Bang!

This week in K-Pop:

The big news is about the debut of the female version of Big Bang (빅뱅), 2NE1. It's a stupid name, and they had to change it from the original. and they came out with this ridiculous song probably to promote that they were promoting a phone called Lollipop. Watch the video here. I love Big Bang but part of why they work is because they're guys. We'll see how the female version does...

Tiffany of Girls Generation (소녀시대), always having to be a princess and all, is trying to break out on her own. She does a duet with K.Will (who cares?).

Apparently mega-producer and artist himself JYP (박진영) is getting divorced. I didn't know he was married, since he acts like such a perv at his concerts.

Singer Bae Seul-ki (배슬기) will be in the movie Finale. She is famous for the "boko" dance (보코 댄스) and I totally met her once backstage at KBS. I was talking to the rapper H about how I was also from America, and my friend was from LA; Bae Seul-ki came up and said in very cute English and saturi accent, "I'm from Boo-zhan."

I am heartbroken. My future husband Lee Seung-gi (이승기) did a photoshoot with some girl who is not me. I think he is going to be in some drama but I didn't have the strength to keep reading after these shocking photos.

In other news:

Figure skater and fantasy of every pervy guy in Korea, Kim Yun-a (김윤아) did something great again and everyone is excited. I think she broke some world record but I'm not sure.
